Purnkuti, a Pune's leading NGO dedicated to empowering marginalized communities, proudly celebrated its 13th anniversary on 20th December 2024, marking over a decade of commitment to transforming lives.
Purnkuti achieved significant milestones, including the expansion of its production unit with support from a CSR, enabling enhanced vocational training and sustainable business practices.
The NGO also launched a remedial education center under Project Manosakha with support from Mirae Asset Foundation, focusing on academic and personal development for children. Promoting sustainability.
Purnkuti introduced initiatives to recycle used denim, sarees, and dupattas, transforming them into useful and beautiful products, and further empowering beneficiaries while supporting eco-friendly practices.
Purnkuti relaunched its production unit brand, 'Label Purnkuti,' featuring high-quality products crafted by its beneficiaries.
The launch of the #RukengeNahi campaign symbolized the organization’s resolve to continue growing, empowering lives, and driving social change.
The event was graced by the presence of Chief Guest Mr. Suraj Mahajan, Probationary Assistant Commissioner, Skill Development, Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation Department, Pune, and Mr. Mule, NULM Officer from PMC Pune.
Allcargo Logistics Ltd, under its CSR wing Avashya Foundation, provided scholarships to 15 students of Project Manosakha, further supporting the academic aspirations of underprivileged children.
Purnkuti’s co- founder Sneha Bharti expressed heartfelt gratitude to supporters, volunteers, and corporate partners like Hexaware Technologies, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, Sahyadri Hospital, Loantap, DocBoyz, Johanson Control India, Luminova and Mirae Asset Foundation for their contributions in expanding the NGO’s reach. She emphasized the importance of collaboration in scaling programs and building a brighter future for marginalized communities.
